I'm going to Hawaii and/ or Mexico sometime in the next few weeks.
I'm thinking Baja California, Mexico Feb 22-26.
Hawaii April 12-16.
It appears that if I get the package deal: hotel, flight and car, another person can jump in for about $200.

The US has pledged 130 million in aid to Haiti, China has pledged 3.4 million.
Um, why are WE being reamed for failure to save Haiti?

When the US does something people don't like, we are Imperialists.
But when we don't do something, we are selfish capitolists.

WTF?
The Dominican Republic shares the freakin island, why isn't the bulk of aid coming from them?
Or Cuba, the next freakin island over?
No one is damning those guys?!

Don't get me wrong, we absolutley should be helping Haiti, just like we helped the tsunami victims in Indonesia and elsewhere.
But for the love of turnips!
Would a "good on ya" be so freakin difficult?!

Um, the Vatican is wealthy too, and they have given dick to the Catholic country of Haiti.
France is wealthy, and they have given dick to their previous colony of Haiti.

We are in the middle of a recession, and yet when someone is in need the American, (government and personal) coffers open wide.

When China is the dominant country, I seriously doubt you will see the same thing.
